This is my well balanced version of a classic x-base table. Hand cut half-lap construction with mortise and tenon joinery. This is 1 of 2 tables commissioned for the dining area in a Folly Beach house. The red oak hardwood base is finished with polyurethane. The red oak top was purchased by the family from Boos Block and has a mineral oil factory finish.
